Stroud Green Primary School, part of a richly diverse community, is a place where all children flourish in a safe, happy and stimulating environment. We are keen to support our children in many aspects of their life to become confident and resilient young people.
In year 5, we have been learning about mixed media land and cityscapes. We learnt about what art en plein air is. We explored the work of Vanessa Gardiner, Shoreditch Sketcher, Kittie Jones. Inspired by Kittie Jones, we created landscape artwork using handwriting pens to create an initial sketch. We then worked into our initial sketches using water, to create tone. Finally, we added a layer of colour using water colours. We hope you enjoy our art work!
