Our Year 5 pupils explored the vibrant world of Expressionism, studying artists such as Wassily Kandinsky, Egon Schiele, and Edvard Munch. They learned how colour, line, and brushwork can express powerful moods and emotions. Using their own photographs as inspiration, the children created expressive self‑portraits, experimenting with bold colours and dynamic mark‑making to show a range of feelings.
