Meopham Community Academy is a two-form entry primary school set in a beautiful village location in Kent. We are very proud of our school and the high standards of behaviour and learning that our children achieve. On their art journey through the school, pupils are encouraged to experiment with a range of artistic styles and techniques. Pupils in Year 5 have been working on a project based on the colourful folk art of Richard Kimbo. The pupils were inspired by Kimbo’s art to imagine a ‘busy’ scene. They used pencil and oil pastels to create unique, vibrant scenes with carefully chosen detail to capture the viewer’s attention.
