Meopham Community Academy is a two-form entry primary school set in a beautiful village location in Kent. The school prides itself on providing a happy, safe and caring environment for all its pupils. We are a busy, friendly and popular school with a warm and welcoming ethos; recognised by all who visit! We want our children to enjoy their time and education with us and to achieve the highest possible standards in all aspects of their lives. We are very proud of our school and the high standards of behaviour and learning that our children achieve. On their art journey through the school, pupils are encouraged to experiment with a range of artistic styles and techniques. Pupils in Year 5 have been working on a project based on the colourful folk art of Richard Kimbo. The pupils were inspired by Kimbo’s art to imagine a ‘busy’ scene. They used pencil and oil pastels to create unique, vibrant scenes with carefully chosen detail to capture the viewer’s attention.
