We believe that every child is unique and has different gifts and talents to discover and develop. Our children show great passion in our Art curriculum and we thrive to allow our children to experiment to find their own skills and talent. We lead each unit with an overarching question that we will be able to answer by the end of each topic. In Year 5, we started the year looking at Dragons with the children creating wonderful dragon eyes as well as using the 'blow' method to create dragons breathing fire. During November we spent a week commemorating Remembrance Day, with our children being able to choose how they wanted to reflect on this time and show their gratitude for what people of the World Wars did for our country. Another topic we have done is 'What does it take to survive?', learning about the Biomes of the world and appreciated the differences between them.
