We are a large Primary School based near the town centre of Shrewsbury. At Coleham school we hold the principle that ‘we are all artists’. Our aim is that, through art, our pupils will see themselves as artists, talk about art, explore ideas and experiment freely, developing an interest in and appreciation of the art of others. We have an in school gallery where children's work is displayed and celebrated. Recently, our Year 5 children have been learning about the life and works of Matisse and his paper cut outs were the inspiration for many of our entries to this competition.
