Catcote Academy is a secondary school with special educational needs in Hartlepool, North East of England. Our school family has a wide range of needs including students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), severe learning difficulties (SLD), moderate learning difficulties (MLD), those who have an autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and those with identified social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMHD). Creative Arts play a huge part in the educational and wellbeing needs of our students . All students that have entered the competition have a passion for the arts. They champion themselves offering creative inspiration to others within their community through arts and cultural events. They have enjoyed expressing their own ideas by taking part in Arts Bytes.
